Guide
How many custom cookies do I need?
The short answer: about one cookie per guest when cookies are a favor or share the table with other desserts, and about two per guest when cookies are the main dessert.
Quick guide by guest count
| Guests | Favors or with other desserts (1 each) | Cookies as the main dessert (2 each) |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | 3 dozen | 5 dozen |
| 50 | 5 dozen | 9 dozen |
| 100 | 9 dozen | 17 dozen |
| 200 | 17 dozen | 34 dozen |
Rounded up to the next dozen. Our minimum order is 2 dozen (24 cookies).
Budgeting
Most of our custom cookies run $4.50 to $6.00 per cookie, depending on the order, the design and the packaging. For example, 5 dozen (60 cookies) would typically fall between $270 and $360. You'll get an exact quote with your proof.
Adjust for your event
- Kids' parties: one each is usually plenty, plus a few extra for parents.
- Favors to take home: one per guest or one per household, individually wrapped.
- Long events or open houses: people come and go, so plan for the higher number.
- Corporate gifts: count recipients, not guests. A gift can be a single statement cookie or a small set.
- A few extras: we always suggest a handful more than you think. Extra cookies never go to waste.
Timing
Every set is designed and baked to order. We prefer a couple of weeks' notice, and larger orders need more lead time for production. Short on time? Ask anyway: we'll do what we can if time allows.
